DAISY DUKE adopted September 2010 by Nicola, Jesse and family.

"She is such an amazing dog!  She is full of action and good humor and is an abosolutely loving and gentle soul. She loves any and all affection. She is still crate trained, and although she likes to snuggle on our and the kids' bed at night, she really enjoys settling down to sleep in her crate. She is fitting in with the family, absolutely loves the kids and other dogs.  She is amazingly respectful of the cats and now they all hang out on the same floor, even sleep together in the same room.  She has not grown too big, as you had predicted, but has really filled in nicely, she has the most beautiful chocolate coat and a nicely muscled body.  Daisy Duke loves all people she meets, but is very respectful of them and never jumps up.  She is well known in the neighborhood as well for being such a ham.

TUCKER adopted January 2010 by Stephanie.

"My first day at Dogs at Camp Cookstown there were nine dogs there, but my eye was instantly drawn to this adorable ginger lab mix named Tucker.  As far as I knew he was someones pet, but then my co-worker told me he was part of our rescue program and was actually up for adoptation.  It was fate!  After that shift I knew I was going to take Tucker home with me as soon as possible.  After a couple weeks of talking it over with my parents, we decided to do it.  The more I worked with him, the more I fell in love with him and knew he would be a perfect addition to our family.  Tucker has now been living with us for a month, and things couldn't be going better.  He is extremely playful and affectionate, and he constantly wants to be near someone.  He loves to tug and play fetch, and has even learned a new trick since being here!  I certainly could not have asked for a more perfect dog, and I'm thrilled I rescued him."

HUCK adopted October 2009 by Gavin and Sarah

"We had been searching for a perfect pooch mate for a while before we came across Huck. We are a lucky couple to have been able to find such a loving, friendly and full of energy pup. When we first met Huck he was full of personality,incredibly affectionate and well behaved and we knew right away he was perfect for us.
It has now been four months since Huck has been living with us and it has been great. He is obedient on the leash when we go on our daily walks and has been showing off his skills on how to sit and stay when waiting at stop signs or crossing the street. He has also been making pals with neighborhood dogs and is on best behavior when walking and playing with them. He has shown nothing but love and devotion to us and craves attention (which he deserves!). Huck has found a cozy forever home living with us and it has been nothing but the best of times since Huck has moved in!"
