DOG - MA Pet Rescue
Kate Gartley - rescue head

Kate Gartley has put in just over 10 years of experience in the pet industry, from running a small dogwalking and pet care business, to working as a dog trainer.  Over the years she has come across many pets in need of help, some have been abandoned, abused, or just given up.  Kate found that the need was out there for "in home" type rescues where pets can adjust to regular home life before making the final move to a forever home...and so Dog - Ma Pet Rescue came to life.

When Kate is not working with the rescues she can be found in the mornings walking her clients of @Doglover.Com, a small dogwalking/pet care business...working afternoons at a veterinary practice...or working evenings as a trainer at a dog training centre. In Kate's free time she uses her skills as a trained and certified canine masseuse running Digits For Dogs canine massage. For fun Kate and her "zoo" can be found participating in many different dog sports, their favourites being agility, disc dog, and dock diving. Some of the zoo can also be seen performing with the Superdogs...Big Al, the yellow lab, and Buddy, the shepherd-x., a Dog - Ma rescue.

Jillian Yemen - volunteer

Jillian Yemen is a professional musician with a passion for dogs and pet rescue.  She works mainly as an opera singer and has also worked in the pet industry for the past 5 years. Jillian has training in dog behaviour and natural pet health through PIJAC, as well as on the job training in everything from grooming to doggy wear.  Her own rescue dog, Grizzle, is a snaggle-toothed cutie who is a great example of all the great pets there are out there who rely on pet rescue to save their lives and help them find a forever home.

Sandra Rosano - volunteer

Sandra has been able to turn her life long passion for animals into her business.  As a Tellington TTouch practitioner (All Creatures Tellington TTouch), she has spent the last 6 years helping animals, especially those in foster care, with their physical, emotional and behavioural challenges so that they can find their forever homes even sooner.
