DOG - MA Pet Rescue

The following is a list of First Aid Kit suggestions that we have put together after many years of caring for pets, and traveling with them. Most of the suggestions have been compiled from different ideas listed in the many first aid courses we have attending, and quite a few have been added on from past experiences...For example fine tipped pliers are a must have for those with pets that just can't keep their noses away from porcupines.

First Aid Kit

By Kate Gartley of Dog – Ma Pet Rescue

A first aid kit is only as good as its accessibility. Some places to keep a First Aid Kit include the home, the car (and recreational vehicle), and carried on your body, especially if you do a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking. The contents should be checked regularly and replaced as soon as they are used. It is important to have items in the first aid kit that will be functional and work in an emergency. Listed below are some necessary items for your first aid kit as well as some suggested additions. Add to your first kit according to your personal needs, pets and lifestyle.
